Break

Well, Monday was the first day of Christmas break...what to do, what to do...?
It would have been the perfect time to pitch in and clean the house from top to bottom, catch up on laundry, and finalize Christmas plans!

That idea sounded good to my mom too, but somehow we convinced her to stay in pj's all day and turn the kitchen into an awesome army base complete with table fort. Turns out, mom knows a thing or two about making forts and she can reach much higher than us!

It's a good thing too because the enemies were surrounding us on every side. We held out inside keeping safe, telling stories, and enjoying army rations of grilled cheese and fruit snacks.

Eventually enemy fire ceased and we were free to move safely about the premises.

We'll see what surprises the rest of the week bring!
